Howdy! I'm Kirsten Stadler and I'm the one often hiding behind the lens. I created Copper Cowgirl Photography as a way to share my love of western culture as well as capturing and preserve people's unique stories and special moments.

You may have noticed that the Copper Cowgirl brand includes a palomino horse. This is a very important detail to my story, when I was a little girl my dad put me on the back of his sweet gelding. This horse was the beginnings of my love for the western world, he was the first horse I fell off and got back on after some tears. Without that sweet and patient palomino, I don't know if I would have ever found the passion for the world of horses and cattle that I have today.

after taking the leap to move north into the North Peace region, I have had the opportunity to work as a photographer on countless jobs from construction sites to rodeos to engagements. I am always excited to meet and work with new people and hear their stories and photograph their important moments.
